I pulled my phone out, pressed number five on speed dial, as I watched Ra pull out the driveway. The caller answered on the fourth ring.

“They are getting to close. I thought that you made some moves so that this wouldn’t happened, Tino.” I asked my younger brother.

“Sal, you need to stop worrying. The moves that I’ve done, no one would have a clue. I have a couple of people in the inside, so I know their every move. Trust me when I say I got this, because I do.” Tino replied.

Good! Because if word gets out about them, that would be something else that we have to worry about.” I rubbed my hand over my head out of frustration.

“It won’t, especially if everyone values their lives. I know what’s at stake here. I have no room for error, and I made that known to everyone involved.” he stated.

“I trust you, Tino.” I stated.

“I have everything under control. I’m by brother’s keeper.” Tino stated. I paused before I answered.

“And I always keep my brother.” I replied using our saying we had since we were younger.

“I will talk to you later, Salomon. Stop worrying, we got this like we always have.” He hung up without hearing my replied. I hope so. I thought to myself as I placed my phone back into my pocket.

“Sal! You coming to watch this movie with me?” Latrice yelled from the family room. “I’m coming dear.” I replied.

I grabbed a couple of waters from the refrigerator. I decided to let everything go and trust in my brother that he had everything covered. I walked out of the kitchen deciding that I would put everything on hold, so I can enjoy an evening with my lovely wife.
